Oh well, I have now had 3 messages not answered..... 1 from before the end of the auction, 1 right after the end, and 1 this morning, all basically asking if it is still for sale and available for viewing. But no response. Something tells me that not quite a 'Con' but a bit fishy as there were 3 different dates for the MOT expiry, one going as far as JAN 2011 !!! /JAN 2010/ JUL 2009.

I'm sure if they were keen to sell, or maybe even had something to sell, they would answer, (and I've been as nice as pie in all of them), wouldn't they? Just seem suspect.......

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks again to all, especially 'Grav888'. Thanks.

I too noticed this one.
It looks nice but is a heck of a trek up from your place.

My partner has the newer shape one of these. Love it!! I have driven that shape one and they are very similar. They really are great fun green laning and going places where normal cars can't. The boot space is great for the DIY store runs too. Just make sure the blend doors which control the dual AC work properly and it blows cold/hot air where it should. Blend door repairs are expensive. These really are great vehicles, but don't expect it to handle like a normal car, then again if you wanted a car that handles well then you wouldn't be looking at Jeeps.

Just had a reply to my inquiry about the Jeep from "Jim". Seems quite genuine and doesn't mind a third-party viewing anytime, even tomorrow, (Sunday 10 - 2) here's his Number to arrange - [FONT=&quot]07973 788 945 [/FONT]- .

I also heard from Christine about the other Jeep in Essex, very apologetic etc. She wants £1500 or thereabouts.......

To be honest, I think the Jeeps are a better option than the 140 Merc, even though I love them.

So if you can pop round, much appreciated. But no biggy if you can't.
