Aftermarket bum warmers?

We've been doing loads of these.

On W211 you'll need a new front passenger SAM most likely and switch pack if you want OEM functions. It depends on age of the vehicle as there are two different designs

There lots of people out there that claim to use genuine Mercedes parts and update data-cards etc etc but they don't. The Mercedes head pads cost about £400 for the 4 pads - you can see why given 4 pads of aftermarket is about 1/4 of that

My car is a pre-facelift CLK, but it has had a Facelift conversion for the dash, so facelift switchpack.

What would I do in this case? Treat my car as a facelift? Or pre-facelift?
I note there’s 2 different harnesses for pre-facelift and facelift due to 2 and 3 stage heating.
I thought it best to use the Pre-facelift harness, as I have a report of a fellow members who facelifted their car with a new switchpack etc but it had heated seats before and it continued to work as expected?

Cheers

I have heated seats in the E350 Coupe which I have used plenty of times , but they do not compare to the heated seats I had in my BMW which heated up at the flick of that switch .
Now I have retired and do not leave for work at 4.30 am :D

Thought I would miss the heated seats in my E class as bought an ML Sport without any but the seat and back are not leather, only the bolsters thank goodness so not too bad even in the mornings . Really only miss the heated seats when am tired driving and want cold air in the cabin but my old frame wants heat!
