The air con in the daily driver wasn't performing as it should so I thought that while I was having that done I'd have the SL air con serviced too. Thought about using ats with the groupon voucher but decided I'd use a local specialist instead. Called Leicester car regas and the guy managed to fit me in the same day (Saturday). Did both cars, explained everything that he was doing to me, very professional and did a good job. Evacuated the gas, dried it out, put in a dye for future use and filled it all up again. I even got a Didcot for doing both cars together. If you're in the Leicester area I can heartily recommend them.

Nice to get the air con re-gassed without it needing a new condenser or similar expense, I have never been so lucky every car of mine has needed something.

Not done it in my Merc yet, but in my last car I regassed myself following ChrisFix tips:

I bought this: STP Air-Con Reusable Trigger and Gauge - For Gas R134A

Chris Fix has a nice vid on locating leaks as well, in case you think you have any.
