A lot of info to take in, but if you're having problems, some good advice here.

As someone said in the comments, "Mercedes-Benz should ditch their whole Airmatic section in their manual and just print a QR code to this video. Perfect amount of detail and explanation. If you know things, you can explain it in simple words!"

Am a quarter of the way through it - really useful so far having just had some air suspension concerns with my w211. Am just going to make some dinner to have while I watch the rest. Thanks for sharing.

Very real what he said about parts darts!

Another guide for more Airmatic help.

It’s reassuring to see it says around 115000 miles before replacement - my s211 has 39000 so hopefully many more years before any problems with the airbags!

Unfortunately age will also play a part in its condition, rubber will perish with time…. not sure that they will last another forty years with your mileage… but would be nice though eh.
