hi all, i managed to box the engine all up after chain/sprocket check and with new gasket and idler and tensioner pulleys, wiring tidy up.
New orings for the magnetic cam sensors, so cautionally optimistic that the dont leak again.
if they do ill replace them ,so thanks for the information guys.
New oil and filter and she purrs like a pussy cat.
next job is door speaker replacement and looks like i have thedreaded brittle door handle that some clown has glued together, with the leather door trim grrrr.
i put on a new leather gearshift boot and lever with new crome surround (all from ebay) and i guess if you pay peanuts......
I struggled with the damn thing for an hour or more which shouldve been a 10 min job but its done and looks good.
