All POI's in Foreign Language

I have a 2012 ML350 w166 that I bought a few weeks ago and am still learning how to use the command system. I noticed today when using the Nav system that when I use destination and then all POI's, they all come up in a Foreign Language. I have reset the system, but still the same. Any ideas?

Also the map version is 2014, so can they be updated?

Eastern European mafia, perhaps? Better check the carpets for bloodstains...
