Got all 4 wheels that need touching up. Not worth the professional refurbishment as car gets used for school runs and likely to get curbed again during term time.
Have done DIY smart repairs before, so will post up photos showing my progress and handywork. Will be using rattle can mixed by my paintshop to match.
Photo below shows the wheels washed and the metal sanded to removed rough and gorged edges. Next step is to apply filler, aiming to fill the rash and gorged holes along the edge of the rims. The isopon kit is really great at filling, it also drys very quickly and easy to shape and sand. Mainly using 600 grit dry paper with little hand pressure.
