I work (mainly) in the food industry , it's where I draw the line too . You have to be a bit er ? special to enjoy working in that environment.

Yes, a most unpleasant experience. Hasn’t stopped me from enjoying a decent steak etc., but has deepened my enduring respect for the animals that form part of our food chain.

The construction company I worked for ,many moons ago, had a contract to carry out work at an abattoir and I had to visit site on occasions. I recall seeing about twenty calves being herded into the business end, the mooing sound was nothing like what I was used to , it was horrible, they could smell/sense what was about to happen.
