Amersham weather

Decided to shoot to Amersham tomorrow to pick up the CL, dealer is shut and im planning on leaving 6am.

Need to know how it is en route I'm M6 M40 then A road from j4

Anyone able to give an insight please.

Almost all the snow has gone in the Midlands, except a few fields. Friends in Aylesbury are having no problems on their local roads either. You'll be fine I'm sure.

The roads in High wycombe and Amersham are clear, the council learnt something from last year.

^They are nice guys Dave(father/son operate from there family home),i bought my cls there in 2010(got a reasonable part ex on my clk320 cab).

Right I'm back after a quick stop at the office.

Firstly I didn't do much (any) homework on the CL just noting keyless go was wanted and newer comand which it has.

What it hasnt got is SBC brake hold as I discovered when a stamp on the brakes didn't hold it at the lights. Also no steering wheel flappy padal buttons - none. My older SL has both but then I realised that the CL is a 2000 design and my SL 2002 design - I can live with it but I like SBH.

Secondly this is my first car In a few that is N/A last was the DB9 and it feels a bit slow (!) I'm sure it's an
Illusion and I don't need it to be fast its just after the lexus on the mway going down was such a weapon the CL was happy at 80 on the way home.

Car is in great condition, not as immaculate inside as I hoped but it's cleanable and will be sorted. Faults - chrome ring round key is scratched so new one ordered £5, not noticed anything else. Caught a stone to the windscreen and a small chip - hope it doesn't split tonight before I call auto glass.

Comand - I had a 2006 CLS with this comand and hated the way to go from am to fm its 3 key presses on
The unit (am I missing something?) and it's generally much harder to use and dited much lower than the lexus unit. In daily use that's a pain as I flip between 909 and R2 on the way home.
