Im after a AMG bodykit for my W124 Cabriolet, colour does not matter...

But it needs to Be the later type as my Cab is a facelift,& the front spoiler needs to be atleast half decent, as i know these are known for getting cracked....

Cash waiting...

Cheers Dee

Thats a very tall order Sir, extremely rare but good luck with your search. Best bet is to find a car already fitted, take the bodykit off and sell the car, also face lift version does not come with ducktail rear spoiler.

Thats ok, dont really want the ducktail, looks mega cool on the coupe, but spoils the lines of the cab imo, especially when the hoods down...

In an ideal world, i would have a facelift kit but with the pre-facelift rear spoiler as they hang lower than the later ones, but have to see what comes around...

Good luck with your search Dee ...

They are rarer than rocking horse s**t ....

I can think of at least half a dozen members who would also be interested ;)

I do have a genuine AMG rear bootlid spoiler for sale...see classifieds if its of interest.

Took me two years to find the right AMG bodykit for my car....had to buy a complete car just for the kit.

God...dont think i want to go to the trouble of buying a car taking the kit off, put my mouldings & bumpers on it, paint them & then sell it...

You guys could be right though as i have been on the look out for close to a year now with no luck, but seen a few cheapish coupes with kits on them. But would prefer a deal for a kit only...came close as mercman sold one a week before i phoned them on the off chance once....

Stop off at the Halifax and remortgage your house on the way ;)

looking at the values and desirabilty of cabs and it may not be a bad investment if you keep hold of the original bumpers.

At least then you can offer a choice when you sell, and have the spares to sell on to someone else.

As to the mortgage I can assist there, as I am a freelance mortgage intermdieary by trade, regulated directly by the FSA.

I already asked the MB dealers in Croyden, Purley Way, was told not available anymore. I know that our good friends in Watford, CKS formerly known as Mercedes Performance do supply these kits but not sure if they are genuine MB or aftermarkets.

This makes the most sense to me & the most cost effective way around the situation as you say, i can not see the price of a good kit going down in years to come..

And when its time to sell, the car will appeal to a broader range of people as i will be able to change it to stock if required.

Trouble is finding a kit:mad:

How much should I be paying for a secondhand kit?

Thanks Maggot..

But in not too sure if any of this stuff is genuine, they have a AMG generaton 2 front bumper but no kit, will have to wait untill they put up some pics of it...

Thats the same as my car has, when the facelift cars first came out, only the front bumper was changed.

The wheels in the first pic, are those the C43 wheels, or some other ones, these ones look like 18's...

Thanks, the wheels are genuine AMG 18's, 8" all round.

Mate, how does the ride quality differ from 17"s to 18"s ?....

What size would you recommend me to go for?

Hi Everybody I have a Lorensa front bumper on my 1994 facelift E300 W124 that i might sell if the price is right ,it's perfect apart from one spotlight glass has been broken ,I will try to upload some photo's soon fitted to my motor.
Thanks Bill

The suspension on my car is very hard, the brabus shock and h&r springs dont leave much in terms of movement. Even with the 18's its not as bad as I thought it would be. But then I do tend the crawl over speed bumps. If you use the car daily Id go for 17's.
