AMG bodywork

Hi guys,
Have just put a deposit on a 2001 CL55 and just wondered... have you seen any amg variants without the amg bumpers and sideskirts because mine seems to have had them omitted?

Yes the early c215 CL55 was not fitted as standard with an AMG styling package.

It's a runner alright (OK at the first motorshow it appeared it was a wooden mockup painted red) but all Ital Design's cars are driveable. The current owner drives it quite a lot hence the fitment of numberplates and some truly awful door mirrors. At least he had the good taste to put the great big Maserati trident back on the bonnet! I think the lower portion of the door glazing slides down BTW.


I'll have to have a play with yours at some point Marv. (Fnar). There's an unscratched itch with 968s, and I've just been out to the garage to check how much space I'll have spare with an M5 in there. Plenty
