Don't think it looks that bad, seems to be pretty clean from the photos. Only thing that I would want to know is its service history as the seller doesn't mention it. It is around 100k miles that things like headgaskets start to go which is costly (as I found with mine), on current form I would say it can't be worth much more than £6500 or so just by comparing it to those on Autotrader and just due to the fact that it is very early one. I had mine up for sale a few months ago but have kept it because the prices have really fallen on them recently.

Whats the performance Chris?

To be honest I don't think that one looks any lower than standard, I think they come out of the factory very low anyway. Mine is running standard AMG suspension and has serious trouble with speed bumps and slopes in multistory car prks or similar.

Thmsshaun, performance wise I am very happy with mine, like I said it has just had the benefit of a rebuild but is as quick as the BMW M3 I had before it and the torque is on tap from very low down. Over say a 1/4 mile (not that I have ever tested mine) I think they are only about 0.3 seconds slower than a C43 so they are somewhat performance bargains at the moment I think.

Chris.

£89 postage|!?!?

isnt he the guy who also sells AMG alloys from time to time??

i dont think it looks right for some reason, not the colour but the chrome? looks a bit too low as well?

It was not an original AMG per se. It was a C280 Elegance if I remember correctly which was then shipped off the AMG, who then did their magic.

I think the first C which was a AMG from the offset was the C43.

I think its a lovely car for that money - even in that colour - its different.

And for what its worth - you can never get too low.....
