AMG Exhaust Reducer........

does anybody know where i can get an exhaust reducer to go from an AMG backbox to the stock pipe on my c200.....can't find one anywhere.......somewhere around slough area would be preferable.........:bannana:

You can have a sleeve fitted and then welded. Not a big job, any local exhaust centre should be able to fit it with ease!

I think my local bodyshop did mine when they fitted the '43 backbox, was about a tenner or something

graham, i called top gear in aylesbury....they told me they were busy on saturdays for the next 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!!......not to mention they wanted £70 plus vat. Called the one in hayes as well....they are also busy....i can only get it done on saturdays.......

found a company called 'bosal' exhausts in slough trading estate...they have all sizes of collars.........leading to my next question, does anyone know what size diameter the pipe is in the stock exhaust and what size the diameter is on the amg back box.....they do the collars for £5 and the clamps for £1 each......bargain...........might even have a go at fitting it myself?!?!?!?!?!?!?

don't really want to weld it just in case i sell the car and keep the amg backbox...........will be so much easier to put my stock pipe back on if i have to.........
