I see it is popular to get the down pipes upgraded on the AMG GT. Has anyone done this and what are their thoughts, especially with removing the GPF?

Yes I know someone who replaced the downpipes on a GT S and there are no cats all. Sounds ferocious. If making enquiries, try GAD Tuning

Yes from my research it appears GAD are the best tuners based on reviews. I think I wouldn't go totally cat less and would opt for MOT compliant cat 6 200 cell units.

Antony at GAD has a GT and he’s the go to guy amongst GT owners. If I remember right he has a headers and sportscat supplier, worth giving him a call.
