hey guys I manged to find a set of 4 Mercedes-Benz Amg monoblock II 18" Original Alloys without tyres

STUD DIAMETER IS 112.
FRONT ALLOYS ARE 8J
REAR ALLOYS ARE 9J

will this size be ok my W210 E Class 2000 W reg avantagrde estate?

I will put up the part number tomorrow.

Also what type of tyre and size are best for these alloys?

any help appreciated

HI and thanks Chris on the tyre sizes and model on my car sorry i thought mine was a w210 estate didnt know S210 meant estate version (my hand book says T model more confusion)

Could some confirm that these wheels would fit without a problem, as they came off a 1998 E280 saloon im assuming they should.

Part numbers I have HWA 2104100202 and HWA 1294010102

The front wheels are 8Jx18 ET31 and the rear 9Jx18 ET35

so basically you are after w210 ono 2 staggerred setup as per w210 E55 AMG.
good condition ones can fetch £1K upwards, knackered ones £300 ish.

a few on Ebay

just be warned that you can only diamond cut the lip a few times, so keep that in mind if you get refurbed ones.

good luck!

Hi Alps, yes i like the staggered look, and I have already brought a set as mentioned above with parts numbers and sizes but not sure if they will fit on straigth away with out any issues.

They do have some scuffs around the sides (will try and post some pics tonight if i can) but are generally in good condition, i am thinking of getting them refurbed but they seem to be okay for a while till i feel like splashing some more money out

They will fit without any problems, you might need to change the bolts though.

do you mean i would need longer bolts?
I was told by the guy I brought the wheels off that as my current wheels are alloys then the original bolts will fit fine, however if they where steel wheels then I would need longer bolts,I have a smaller set of nut which in the car for my spare wheel

Your original bolts will fit fine. I have a set of those wheels on my S210 :)

Steel wheels need smaller bolts than alloy wheels, if you use alloy wheel bolts on a steel wheel you risk damaging the Hubs.

Check your option codes.

Do you have the modified wheel arches? Option 774 "Shell modification for AMG wheels" this give extra room to fit wide tyres
Do you have sports chassis or any lowered/stiffened suspension? e.g. Option 655 "sport suspension/chassis..." this makes wide tyre clearance gaps small, a very tight fit.

In which case the 18s are fag-paper clearance in the arches: 235/40R18 front, 265/35R18 rear are maximum sizes (as for the E55). The Yanks seem to have a higher ride height and can get 245/40 onto the front (been there, done that already - they don't fit). They are offset too. If your wheel arches are not rolled over you may have problems.
