Apologies if I am upsetting anyone with my daft posts of late.

Can I have peoples opinions on what I am about to say and see if it makes sense?

I had a problem, well documented which resulted in the replacement of my rear SAMS unit.

My car was fine prior to this and the only work that had been carried out was a full service including replacement plugs.

When I picked my car up, one of the lads told me that an HT lead was damaged and would need replacing and told me that the ECU would store this. I had the limp mode light come on a couple of times when I was on my way home and this was traced to the damaged lead on the second cylinder. I was told at the time that a quick fix would allow me to go home and would need replacing asap BUT my ecu would continue to store this until the lead was replaced.

At the time, he erased the ecu when he connected the car up - and since i have replaced the maf and HT leads but still get a rough ride...

I am now at the conclusion that I now need to clear the memory of the ECU - anyone agree? I have tried the last post using the 5 second 2 minute fix and I think this works as the gear change is smooth (I do not use the kickdown, just firmly press the pedal down so its all the way) but I still have a slight rough ride.

So! where is the nearest place to warrington that I can get this done without a trip to the stealer?

Longwinded or what!
