Evening,

Just hit the 200k mile on my W203 c220 Coupe auto

It's giving super (I believe) mpg.

I travel 40+ miles to and same again home 90+ miles minimum x5 times a week. Own it for 2.5 years now only changed the maf sensor !

Budget motoring! Nice to see how capable Mercedes can be... mine is only just run in at 70k! Can only dream of your mpg though, I've had my car just coming up to 2 years, just a service and a aux battery.

why not do a tank brim and refill again to brim; to compare real world mpg.

report back to us, there will be a lot of interest.

Just an update of my new fetish! I will fill tank during the week and do a tank to empty run and report back! I'll keep a photo diary if I can remember each day ;-)

It's the amount you put back in that is the real amount used.

Go back to same pump and nozzle.

The refill can be at any point, not necessarily at empty.

As long as you have done a representative journey, you can refill at say a quarter tank used.

It's the amount you use to refill that counts and the miles to that point.
