mr motul, are you mad???
the desision of the court is that you are hearby sentenced to never owning or being allowed near a propper rare, fast and sort after car ever again...
so, when did you sell, why did you sell, which country did they go to?
what sort of price do those cars command these days, ive never seen one for sale. must be nearly as rare as the 129 sl73 amg i expect.
I agree with the above statement and will accept whatever the court see's fit as my punishment
I sold the first one in 2005 I think, to buy the second one, the first being a very well used E60 AMG Limited showing around 119,000kms, but the mileage, in my opinion, was dubious. I sold that for around £17,000 I think, then the second one with 67,000kms which I believe to be the correct mileage was a little more expensive to the tune of a few thousand £'s
I sold this car as I was Immigrating to Canada and you cannot import any car into Canada under 15 years old unless you are in the armed forces or if you are there temporarily. I believe this car is in the ownership of Hans Rauch, the owner of Tetrapak, who paid a bit more for it than what I sold it for, but thats business and I am sure he is more than happy with the car and I am told it is one of many cars in his collection. The Dealer that I sold it to, told me last year that if he had that car again, he would be confident of it making somewhere around the £35,000 mark
It was truly a magnificent car, am proud to have owned such a rare beast and although I could kick myself for letting it go, at the time I felt I was doing the right thing and life is too short to dwell for too long, say lar V as they say somewhere else in the World!
Regards,
Terry.
