Another newby!

Hi,
First post after lurking a week or so!

Bought my first Mercedes just over a week ago, a 2000 CLK 430, after years and years of newish but modified VW's.
On return home my 10 yr old son wanted to have a good look, and we 'played' with all sorts inside the car until I managed to get the drivers door window to part company from the winder mechinism!

Then, I checked the last MOT, ran out the very next day, with 3 advisories...
So, on the Monday took her in for an MOT to find the faults
ALL still there, and one extra - the NS rear tyre wasn't replaced as vendor had stated (" fitted 2 rear tyres after last MOT...") On rechecking the tyre shop invoice from October, he only changed one, the cheap skate!

So, she is tonight in the care of John Haynes garage at Goring... who have gone over her finding more reasons to be cheerful, and replacing trackrod ends and slack front wheel bearings as highlighted in two years MOT passes!

Still need a rear tyre, and apparently no Pirelli Zero Nero in 255/35 18 available for love or money...so it's going to be two of some other brand..unless someone knows of any?

Oh well, can only get better?

Stuck - How do I post pics on here, I cant create a folder in new members gallery. I get a message:
