Another vito 638 heater problem

Hi all,
I'm looking for some advise regarding my heater blower,I have been through a couple of threads but they say change motor or resistor which I have done.

Jumped in the old girl started her up and had a strange smell,burning kind of smell,something's taken out the 30a fuse so changed that and still nothing,changed the motor which had been tested but still nothing again,changed the resistor and still nothing.
Is there anywhere else I could check? Would appreciate your help. Typical as the weathers started to turn cold!

Whatever it is, it is going to need some time spent with a multi meter. With the blower motor new and tested, likewise the resister, you will have to start checking the wires. Have you checked the switch itself? Is it receiving power and is it working? Is the motor receiving power from the switch?

Not fun but a process of logical elimination is the only way forward from here unless you spot something obvious…something melted or charred, for example. There is only a set number of things it can be…wire/power to the switch, wire/power from the switch to the motor, etc. Good luck.

I have just tested the switch by by-passing it. I have no Live upto the switch,fuse is fine! Do you have an idea where the relay is? Could this be the problem?
