Think I ballsed up my airmatic setu0p on my 06 W221. Wanted to replace the upper control arm so I had to move the strut out of the way. So I released the air from the top and undid the 3 bolts.

Removed the upper control balljoint and then lower axle dropped and had space to remove the strut forward whilst I replaced that upper control arm.

I refitted everything back together, lowered the car to the ground until the wheels just touched, started the engine and hit the lift button. Noticed that the strut wouldn't lift up so I connected my scan tool and filled up the strut. It started somewhat responding to the lift button so thought nothing further of it.

Now its giving a malfunction error with recovery times during bleeding of air suspension strut is too long, the strut is also low down.

What on earth have I done

Bracket wasn't fitted properly for the level sensor :wallbash:
