Anyone else had a strange 'thank you video' from their dealer?

When my car arrived at the dealership almost 2yrs ago I received a link to a 'walk around' video of the car (with commentary) which I actually thought was a nice touch and added to the excitement of getting a new car.

However, since then as I near the end of my PCP term I have had a couple of awkward 'sales' follow up customer care/courtesy videos which are, to be honest, a tad weird!

I think it would be too cruel to the salesman to post the link to my latest contact from them!!

So, is this becoming the norm? Are other dealerships adopting this new method of communication?

They are certainly going to town on the citnow feature mine was in last friday having a new set of rear tyres fitted and on monday receive a citnow video that the tech had made walking me through the health check which was carried out.
I don't mind them to be honest....

Yup, been getting health check videos for the last three quarterly ones...
I like it :thumb:

He really does look like his boss has made him record that.

I can picture the boss behind the camera urging him on with threats of a poor appraisal unless he displays the appropriate behaviours.

Funny.

Ha ha ha yes , had two email from my MB dealer when I checked my emails a few days later from the services and one for each vehicle showing the cars on the ramp and talking about what they was doing and showing me what they'd done ... What a waste of man power !!!
