anti jack alarm ( tow away ) . interior lights. interior alarm sensors .

I thought the middle switch in the upper row flashes the lights whe you are out dogging, the bottom left closes the air vents to stop the outside world being polluted when you drop a really smelly fart.

The bottom right, with the hook, unleases the hidden real spolier

The very top button disables the batmobile wings...

Maybe i should have read the handbook as soon as i got home with the car...

Dont say u havent read the handbook its punishable by death so it seems and nickers get well in a twist

There's a steady stream of people asking questions like "What button do I have to press to make the driver's window go up and down?"

It doesn't reflect well on them.

Especially when asking about buttons which are essentially the same for all German and Japanese cars.

In the time it takes to make a post on here, then wait for replies, of varying quality/interest;
you could find the information more quickly, and probably accurately, by using a quick search engine for such info ......

The big rectangular blank in the middle is where the sunroof switch is (not on a convertible, obviously). How do I know? My W204 doesn't have one. A sunroof, that is. It does have the blank....

Not reading the manual, or rather not knowing what various controls do, suggests you are not in proper control of your vehicle

You're lucky then, I do have that switch & a sunroof, and after 3 years, It is still trial and error as to how it works!

In our climate, it's not used that much, but when that rare day occurs and you're already driving, a manual ain't much help. But thanks anyway.

(and after reading your link, it's still not easy to understand)

Buy an automatic, it'll free 1 hand up :-)

Next time il drive 63 miles down to my storage container and empty the entire contents looking for a small folder labeled "car stuff"and then read through the manual untill i find the answer insted of popping on to a friendly forum and just running the question by afew friendly adults and having it answered in 10 mins

I apologise for my actions and will refraim from asking anything written in the manual untill i have read it cover to cover 8 times so i am definitely sure its not mentioned

It’s easier to read it when you first get the car...or even better leave it in the car....

Might help when you get a warning light, if only to know the difference between amber and red warning ...

Theres no warning lights though only 2 buttons that untill earlier i didnt notice

Il expect the fbi with handcuffs in due course or the cia i dunno how high this crime goes

Come on guys, hardly a major crime and not a great welcome to a new member! Heck, I have asked a question before now when it is bucketing down and the manual is outside in the car! A gentle ribbing and reminder sure, but really.......

@Ericcarlin88 - take a look here for an online version which may help. Note it's the USA one - for some reason MB don't seem to do UK online versions!
