Hi, an expensive way to fail an MOT !
...because the cats must be present.Thinking down the same route. Why is this a MOT failure item, if the readings from the CO2 are ok?

It will only pass if they don't see it or know about the missing cats. Otherwise it's supposed to fail.So how does the recommended secondary cat delete get passed? or will it not now new MOT regs have been introduced?
Hi, missing or "altered" cats are now a point of failure.
Thought this was diesels.
