Along the lines of the number plate thread.........

Here's my contribution:

Tonight travelling south on the M3 around 6pm, queueing traffic at the intersection with the east bound M27, 50mph warning signs all the way to halfway between Junction 5 and Junction 7, able to make about 5mph in 3 lanes of heavy traffic then a "Accident Ahead Slow Down" warning. Got to Junction 7 at about 6.25pm, with no sign of an accident. Just after Junction 7 all the "End" signs are on.

Then when I get close to Junction 9, "Queueing Traffic on Slip Road" signs are on. Everyone slows down. Get to Junction 9, no queue.

Aaargh !

The perennial classic, "Fog", as seen on a bright sunny summer morning with visibility as far as the eye can see.

Infuriating. No wonder these signs go ignored.

Equally classic is "Fog" when you can only just about make out the star at the end of your bonnet...

...Ahhh, so that's why I can't see where I'm going!! :D

"Toll Road Clear".... then having to que to pay to get off as numpties in front ferret through pocket for correct change!!!

"Don't Drink and Drive", "Tiredness Kills, Take a Break". In fact any sign that takes my eyes of the road to read information that I don't need now.
