Are AMG alloys diamond cut?

Hi

I have a 2012 W212 sport with the 'standard' 6 spoke AMG alloys that most of the E class and C class sport versions seem to have. A couple of days ago I kerbed one of my four perfect alloys and now I have only three perfect alloys! I intend to get the kerbed alloy repaired but I am unsure if the bit I have damaged has been diamond cut. The damage is about 2cm long and 3 mm wide on the flat edge of the alloy against the tyre. Does anyone know if the flat edge of the alloy against the tyre is diamond cut as this will obviously reflect on the cost of the repair?

Thanks in advance

Hi if the Alloys are diamond cut they will be of a Alloy finish with a clear lacquer, and if they are diamond cut you will have problems repairing them as unlike painted wheels you cant use a filler and then repaint over to cover it you physically need to skim the wheel.

I believe they are diamond cut on the face as I have the same problem but the only difference is I want all four done :(
