There's a matt black (paintjob, as far as I can tell) Aston V8 Vantage outside - very nice, but the temptation to get some chalk and play noughts & crosses is very high. As an aside there's also a DBS (gurgle), TT-RS and a CLS63. Never short of nice noise here.

The chromed SLR belongs to a footballer, the club that trains at London Colney (Fabregas? Something like that - really not my thing) and can be seen around there frequently.

Unfortunately they're all driven by salesdroids with no appreciation for the metal, that I can tell.

The RS was kerbed on 2 wheels within 4 days, the Aston V8 gets spanked from cold all the time and the CLS wheels look like someone's attacked them with a scouring pad.

I was working on MOTD at a Premier league ground last Saturday, parked in the players car park.
Hideous is the only word to describe it. A row of superblinged Overfinch Range Rovers with special chavlon interiors, many of which were matte black, as were the R8s and Astons. Those that weren't matte black were just black. It's only a matter of time before chromey cars come to a football ground near you.

Matt finish is much much nicer than chrome.

Theres a chrome SL on Pistonheads that has been there for ages and cant sell.
Think it used to be owned by a footballer so that really says it all!

My mate got his CL55 chromed wraped from far it looks mental but at close range it looks real tatty!! the chromes already fading on it and looks like a waste of money i think he paid £3500 to get it done!!
