Hi guys,

I'm just curious. Would the wheels from a 2007 TT fit onto a 2000 W208?

Cheers

pdc is the same, but the offset on audi wheels is about 10-15mm more, so they will be sunk into the arches and may rub inside.

if they are cheep, and you like them, you could buy a sapcer, i got mine from german ebay, hubcentric is the only type i would use, due to centering issues.

Thanks for the reply.

The wheels on the Merc at the moment are 18" with 225/40/18 tyres

The Audi wheels I have are 17" with 225/50/17 tyres

Does this make any difference to your previous reply?

Cheers,
Glenn

You aren't going to put Audi wheels on your new 430 are you ?

Please say no ....

Stop thinking thoughts like that !

i am not going to judge you for wanting to put different wheels on your car, but i do wonder why you want to fit smaller dia ones than it came with???? weird.

I'm not going to do it now. The new Audi wheels and tyres will go on my Audi as planned.

But, I do prefer the CLK with 17" wheels. I think 18's are more prone to kerb damage and make the ride too hard.
