Audible alarm set acknowledgement

Is it possible to have audible alarm acknowledgement whenever the alarm is set ON or OFF to augment the flashing ind lights ?
This is on a facelift 1997 C250 TD estate... Thanks

It's very '90's' to have an audible alarm now and I believe, for new vehicles anyway, illegal!

As a matter of fact, I get on VERY well with my neighbours and would not dream of shattering their peace

Rainy day... handfull of shopping... fumbling with key fob... hit the button... nice to HEAR a muffled chirp to assure you you have locked the car and not just unlocked it again...
