Hello

Wife has a MB Audio 10 in her car, she listens to CD books and has got ne stuck. When you eject it says ' NO CD'

Wouldn't be too bad only the CD in it is part of a set from a library that has been hired....ooops

Any idea how I can get it out??

I've tried turning off / on, proding things... pulling buttons off to see if I can get near. Having no luck :(

Thanks

Take the unit out and take off the top, then you can lift the disc clamp wheel.

Power down via the fuse and power up again they will often spit the CD out

Hello

I did take both buttons off each bottom left and right to access the bit you put keys in to release the unit..

Alas I had no keys but some tiny flat files but didn't budge it...

Do I need the proper keys?...

I thought what you said would work hence trying but didn't get anywhere :(

Cd is due back Thursday....looks like a long term loan :)

Do you have the two slots under the knobs at each end

Yes thats what I tried to push the files down thinking it would allow the cage to pop out...

It didn't though

Cheers Malcolm if they are only a £1 I will pop to Merc (only round the corner walking for me :)

Is the unit itself easy to take apart will I need torx bolts or anything odd...

Thanks again
