Possible question for Alfie or Richard this one.

whilst i was looking around for a C350 Coupe, i was wanting one with a panoramic roof... and seem to remember something about an option to close the roof automatically if it started raining.

Now as it turns out, i got one without the panoramic roof, so never really thought about it after that.... until last night, when i found myself sticking my head out the door to make sure i'd closed the windows.

So, on a 2005 C350 Coupe, with the rain sensors fitted for auto wipers (i'm assuming this would be a requirement !) is it possible to have the car auto close the windows if it starts raining ??? (or is that something it does alreeady, and a setting i havent found yet lol) ... or was this only something connected with the roof install/controls ?

I am sure this is not possible. I maybe wrong though

I remember seeing some promotional stuff about this for a w211 with a sunroof, rather than the Pano roof. No idea whether in reality it carried over to the Pano, or to the w212

I have a feeling you might be right, but... figured it was worth asking about, it's not an uncommon thing to see, even fitted as standard to certain trim levels of things like Citroen C5's
