Auto Express Survey & Win £25,000

Nows your chance to put MB in top 10.... lie if you really have to..

Britain's biggest car reliability and satisfaction survey is better than ever - and we need you to take part!

We'd be delighted if you could spend five minutes completing Auto Express magazine's Driver Power 2005 questionnaire.

If you've got niggles with your car, or you think it's the best motor ever; we'd like to hear from you. It doesn't matter what you drive - everyone's views count and we want them all.

Not only does it give you the chance to get things off your chest, but you'll be entered into a prize draw to win £25,000 - just imagine what you could buy with that!

Last year 40,000 drivers took part and we want to top that total. Simply click on the following link to begin the survey.

Didn't have to lie - really delighted with my '99 E320 estate, and with the main dealer in Bath who kept its predecessor ('90 300TE) in excellent condition at reasonable cost.

I didn't lie either, I'm delighted with my car, just not with the dealer service!

Same here, very pleased, best car i've bought yet even WITH my service dealer (but not the place i bought it from, they suck!)

Where it says
E Class (new)
E Class (old)

I suspect it means W211 & W210. Don't W124s count anymore ?

Not sure, but I guess you could include W124s with the 'old' mob. Should raise the overall scores more than somewhat, as 124 owners tend to be more than happy with their choice.

Classic MB owners are nearly always happy. This is because the rubbish ones have long since gone to the scrappers and only the good 'uns are left! :)

All done. More than impressed with our car, and dealer.

Forgot to check if they have the Sprinter listed (Stretched Limo)

John

Edit: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter = Mercedes-Benz Other ;)

Hi Sem,
Auto Express quality survey very interesting... However (call me cynical) but most of these surveys have a more important point to be made. A point which is very much in favour of the Company running it, namely :- many Companies today in the Publicity World make more money from building up and selling Mailing Lists than actually selling their publications... My feeling (gained in some way from past experiences before I retired) is that over the coming year many people will be including on their hall carpet even more junk mail than we all get at present obtained from profiles sent in against surveys of this nature..It's all part of their game... Anyone out there agree?

You old cynic you!

If we tick all the boxes (apart from the bottom one) how can we prove they have gone against our wishes?

Auto Express quality survey.

Hi John,
Nice to chat again. I replied earlier but don't think it got through.
Yes. What would happen if we ticked all the boxes ? Interesting one.
My fear is giving out all the personal info etc like address. telephone no. E Mail no. etc.
When I was working we used to run similar surveys (on a smaller scale) with people who had bought products from us.
Our buyers had a field day getting all the replies together , sorting them into different categories and selling them off to various publicity houses...
Down here we get sick of all the junk mail from sources we have never heard of.. It all comes from Mailing lists does it not...
Would like to see Merc come out good though... I certainly believe they deserve it. :bannana:

:D ;)
Hi Roy,
I think I will put all mine in an envelope and forward them on to the instigator of this thread ;)

My second vote was in the 'bosses' name so if I get duplicate 'junk mail' I will know where it has come from!

I hope the 'tum' has settled.

Regards,
John

Well, i haven't lied.

w203 bought in may 2004 - so far 8 returns with rattles and poor interior trim.
Rubbish!

You could do what an old colegue used to do... put a unique identifier in the to field :) if you start getting junk you know where it came from :) On the subject of the DPA you have no protection whatsoever as companies frequently ignore it on the basis that you are too small to do anything about it. Even the government sells data without giving you the chance to be excluded

Hi Roy,
I know what you mean, have to admit it did cross my mind. I did last years survey, and did'nt get any junk, did not win either, just felt i needed to contribute.

behave glojo... i gave alternate mail address, as you do these days :) :)
