Auto gear question

I have a sportcoupe 230 model 2005 with auto gear, plus the manual option buttons on the steering whell. My question regards an annoying thing I discovered today, although I am driving this car for almost 6 months..
Whenever I stop the car on a rather big slope (not a normal inclination) heading to the upper side of it, when the Sport or Manual mode is selected, the car slides back slowly!! This is not happening when Comfort mode is selected!!
Do you thing that this is a problem with my auto gears, or is it a normal thing to happen???
Thank U for your time!!!

I am guessing but in comfort mode the gear box will probably be in a higher gear say 2nd for a slow take-off. In sport or manual its probably in 1rst gear for greater acceleration. There is probably enough "transmission creep" = slight forward motion, to hold the car in 2nd on a steep hill but not in 1rst.

Exactly the opposite is true in my C32 - and bizarrely I only noticed 3 hours ago!! But I reckon Grober is along the right tracks, and unlikely to be something to be concerned about.

It couldn't hurt to get the fluid level checked just for peace of mind.
