Malcolm, it's the Passat size test not the sport or super sport class test.
For example the new Goodyear F1 asymmetric is in the sports category.
I would advise to read the results in each section of the test as the final results
are biased by the wet weather scores which favour the specialist wet tread pattern.So I would say:

The best all rounder for C or E class is the Continental Premium contact II, a tyre that repeatedly gets good scores in various magazine tests here and in Germany and won the "which" test.

The best sport performance tyre is the current Goodyear F1.(not to be confused with the old dated V-pattern one)

The best super sport I'm not sure but it's probably a marque specific Pirelli P-Zero Rosso.
