automatic dimming mirror

can i fit a automatic dimming mirror to my class? my car has ir remote with flip key and red and green light in the mirror
is it much job to fit it ?
how much will a mirror like that cost?

It certainly can be done. Did one on our 124 - pretty straightforward, I think a bit more complex on later cars. Best source is ebay.de. There were several for 124s and later models when I got ours.

Andy, the plug on the pre-facelift mirror is round/oval right? Compared to the facelift ones which are smaller and square?

Correct Mo, and as long as the O/P gets a mirror with the red/green alarm/immobilser lights within it he should be ok.
