Has anyone else noticed the steep rise in Autotrader fees?

Today is costs £36 for 2 weeks online or £56 for 6 weeks! In 2009 it was £25 for 2 weeks.

Ebay costs £20 for 4 weeks.

What does e-bay take when you sell though?

Piston heads I have found to be very very good & free

£20 is the Ebay classifieds fees. So it's a one time only fee.

PH is good I agree, but more for specialists vehicles I'd say.

Yes I've done well using piston heads.

Your right though maybe not best for a standard type car?

£20 is good then for the bay

PH used to be free to forum members, but that's no longer the case I believe.

PH is free to long term members. Can't remember the cut off - I think it's about 2 years ago.

Had a similar fright today, looking at Recaro prices to try and value the one I have for sale.

2008 - £510 inc vat.
2012 - £950 + vat.

:eek::eek:

I think I'll be keeping it for now!

Auto Trader is ridiculously expensive but they have the market by the balls.... I pay them more than the average monthly salary of a city professional, winds me up to the core.

I always find the cars on auto trader are a little bit more expensive than ebay, gumtree and pistonheads
