If its an iPod your using, then all I can think of is it has the volume limit function on. If not then I don't really know :(

Was the same in my car using an ipod touch, although not too low. Had ipod on full and adjusted the car volume on slightly i would say.

It's the same with mine. I have to to remember to turn the volume down when switching back to CD or Radio.

Good Morning,

The solution to this if you have the UMI fitted is really simple, I have shamelessly pinched the answer from another thread. This worked for me and I adjusted the volume for my ipod and usb.......

Hi Geoff,
Sorry I missed your original post - I've been offline for a bit and am just catching up with the forum. Did you sort out the way to fix your iPod volume?

Here's what worked for me:-
With the iPod (or any external device) running through the UMI, press down and hold the 'C' button, control wheel and 'back arrow' button on the centre console. You have to press all 3 simultaneously and hold them for 3 or 4 seconds.

A new menu appears and if you select 'System' with the control wheel, you get a set of options to adjust the volume for iPod, USB, Streaming and Aux. Just tweak it to suit and it's sorted.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Jim

I hope that helps you out. Sorry, didnt know how to show the full thread.

Cheers

Greg
