B180 goes into limp mode.

Car is 40 months old and dealer advises that there is a valve in the inlet manifold that sticks now and then to cause the problem. They advise may cost £1000 to repair. They will contact Merceds Goodwill in UK and Germany as car has only done 33000 miles and just out of warranty. Has anyone any previous experience with similar syptoms and can offer advice. Sounds like an inlet port shutt off issue. I suspect you will get some goodwill
