Backlit LED numberplates

It's like they can see inside my mind.

Here at Night Time Running Plates (NTRP) we envisioned to create a modern identification badge for the 2nd most expensive purchase of an individual’s life after their house, The Automobile.

Our highly skilled craftsmen crafted away hours of prototypes to find the perfect blend of cutting edge materials to give our signature look. Nighttime Running Plates are a compliment to your vehicles existing contours and light display, finishing off the vehicle like a Windsor in your tie or that clutch bag to your evening dress. Each and every Night Time Running Plate is assembled and built by a single craftsman to ensure continuity of quality throughout.

As a British manufacturer through creative modernisation we can create opportunity, our design and innovation within legal boundaries aims to redevelop our surroundings, given time for society to acknowledge change, we create opportunity, harmony and social well being.

Interesting. Would have to see it in the flesh to make my mind up

Am I the only one that can't find a picture of them lit up or is it just me? I've searched through their website as well

They sound neat, I just want to see what they look like though :dk:

The social media logos on their landing page aren't linked so clicking on them doesn't work (for me anyway)

Fine on a van, on a car? no.

Surely the two cars depicted on the home page show the number plate illuminated?

Just read the fitting instructions. It's a no-no to bend the plate. Most MBs have curved front plates?

Must admit, I found it difficult to reconcile the number plate I saw last night, but I was seeing it at a slight angle.

All I can see is a purple car and a white car (both front areas of each car cropped from the photo) and then two plain plates at the bottom which look normal? :dk:

Does anyone able to find any mention of a price on their site? - I gave up after going through most, if not all the pages.
Not that I would want it on my current car, maybe if I get a G-Wagen 6x6 for Chrimbo ... are you listening, Santa?!

I do believe it's an mot fail. TVR Grtffiths had internal lighting on the rear plate but had to change design on the later models as not regulation.

If the current lights are left on would that then make them legal and would it lessen the effect enough to make them not worth doing? The Rolls in the pic seems to be ok

..........and they come with a free reverse baseball cap

I seen them on a CLA the other day, not only were the digits on the plate back lit making it completely unreadable but he had also back lit the Merc emblem in the grill making the whole car look like Some sort of spaceship thing.

I was embarrassed for him.

What does post 18 have to do with how anyone chooses to dress?
