Beautiful CL500 4.7TT in a rare colour. AMG pack

Because you can get less ash, smoke and ill health :dk:
More importantly, what was that wretched car?

I can't work out what it was. Something Italian?

I like the colour combo so much that I was thinking of giving them a call and see what deal we could work out to px my S65AMG for this 😁.

For all that car is very lovely, a change from an S65 has to be a significant retrograde step in every sense except just maybe running costs. I'd be thinking quite hard about that!

Do I like the colour combination?
The answer is here:

I just got a bit excited about the colour combo but I think you're right, the S65 is a better car. I mentioned it to a friend of mine in the morning and he said the same thing 😃

You would not be surprised to know that it reminds me of my 221 from 2007, but with less doors and less space...

The black bits make such a difference! My old S class was all grey and I never liked it for that reason but your interior looked so much better

The 221 has more wood, and it looks much the better for it.

Thats lovely.
Bet it sounds great, pillarless windows down....
Nope. It's a two door S class. You'd need to "spend a few bob" on changing the exhaust.

Seems that nearly all big engined cars seem to have way more than the average number of owners. Just look at the E63 models on AT. People like the idea of a big powerful car.....but after a year or two the reality of paying to run them hits home!!

And the practicalities. "With great power comes...." inconveniences. Like width restrictions, children, lack of roof racks, and "too much power"

911's, Ferraris and high powered sports cars are famous for it.

And the first three years can create a lot of book owners as the car is passed from one company or lease organisation to another.

£100+k things aren't usually owned privately until their values halve.

Striking colour combo! love it, but would love it even more without the AMG bumper / side skirts.
