Seems too cheap to be genuine?

And another from the same seller??

There's loads of this about at the moment. I was sent an ebay ad for a Ferrari 456 for £17k, for a manual....
But it is obviously a scam.

Look at his other items for sale...

every car or bike or van or motorhome you ever wanted for peanuts too!!

sad thing is he might just catch someone

Pretty much all the items are photos 'borrowed' from previous auctions on Collecting Cars, some going back to sales in 2020.
To quote Jukie, "Let's be careful out there"

Of course, in the interests of fairness and benefit of doubt, it could be that the seller really did win the auction for the 230SL Pagoda at £48K and is now selling it on at a knockdown price......

Yeah if I’m correct this sold recently (talking a few months ago now) at another auction.

Saw the car up on eBay I think about 60ish??? With different photos but I’m like 90% sure it’s the same car, I do remember it being this exact color combination. An ex Swiss and later US example too.

Straight away looking at this it gives me suspicion though.

Don’t quote me on it, but I think it’s changed hands a few times since. And straight away I can tell you it’s not right.

Error pages on all these links. Good to see that they have been pulled down.

I reported him....along with a few others no doubt.

It's encouraging that eBay take the reporting process seriously; let's hope no-one has been caught out.

Its Ok for small stuff.....my wife buys and sell quite a bit on there.....but yes, id be very careful about buying something like a car.....but I'm sure there are some genuine sellers on there.

I’ve bought loads of stuff just need to use common sense, the old saying ‘if it sounds too good to be true’ etc….

That might be real....there can't be many people with that bad taste to sell it to!

I have terrible taste, I’ll take it!
You would then, probably, have a terribly bitter after-taste as well.
