Thanks for taking an interest !!
2 weeks ago i bought a C220CDI Avantgarde 2002 which i like more and more everyday except.........
I knew when i bought the car that the CD/radio had problems...
The Becker be6021 Cd/ Radio may of had an impact at some point or malfunction on the front screen as only shows half the screen detail.
Also a CD is stuck inside.
Also when i go over bumps in the road the radio volume goes up and down so i must have a loose connection.
The advice i am looking for is;
Do i persue trying to find a replacement be6021? £300 new at MB Dealers or take the risk on ebay for approx £180.
or
The unit isn't particular nice and was wondering if i could buy a command unit for my C220 as they look really good. would the existing wiring be OK on a 2002 model???
or
sacrifice steering wheel control and buy new non MB cd/radio for £120 fitted and probably could sort wiring problem also.
Please help what shall i do for the best ????
