MB fail to offer me goodwill on a new SBC unit because my car has not been serviced at main dealership. Independent specialists do nto count apparently.

If anyone here lives in Belfast and has the MB dealership service them etc, I am asking for your reg so I know you in order to get something out of them.

I will actually pay you if it means getting a reduction in the SBC unit

They won't offer me goodwill on a rusting tailgate for the same reason.

The repair is going to cost me £300 - but I've saved many times that by going to local garage for servicing.

Setting one against the other I'm quite happy - after all it's a car that I've owned for 9 years.

They said If I can give friends or family reg's they will discount me.
