I had asked exactly this, but they said they need the battery in the car in order to be able to run their tests. Can you not drop the battery off to them?

Or the other way round. I would have automatically put an AGM in mine until I read this. do you know thw changeover vin number

Hi,050013 55 plate car Also option code 806
Ok thanks very much. All a bit of a puzzle really as mine is an 806 car also. I guess they must have modified the BCM or something at some time through the production run. Every day's a school day.Hi,
From chassis A038332 to A055253 - AGM Battery - 12V/95AH - OEM Pt. No. A 005 5411 10 01
This is the same battery as it was fitted with from the factory, whereas mine was built with an AGM and then superseded with a Lead Acid.
Thanks that's a good suggestion, I will get that checked out.Failure after two years is not common. Have you considered doing a current drain test?
Oh, I've just bought and fitted a G14!Shame you weren't closer to me . I've a g14 sitting doing nothing that I paid £180 for , was only fitted to car 2 weeks before I sold it. Too big for my new e350 , typical![]()
