Hi guys I have painted my calipers with silver heatproof paint and although look ok they're not very glossy looking, so any recommendations? I'm looking the finish of a new Brembo caliper thanks

You need high temp clear coat to get the glossy look you want.

Thanks so much so I'll do them again only with a high temp clear coat I'll post some results any idea where to buy the clear coat? Also do u know if it's available as a brush on? Rather that a rattle can

Don't think I have seen a brush on version and due to its viscosity im not sure a good finish could be obtained without a spray can.

I got mine from eBay iirc.

Can highly recommend brake Caliper specialist in Nottingham. It's not cheap but trust me when I say it's invincible!!!

Hi bud I used VHT paint off eBay and VHT clear after. A clean and scotch brite calipers first then iirc 4 coats colour then 3 clear. Here's some pics. Oh put decals on after colour then clear over.

Thanks guys so I've opted for this paint (to try something different (in gold) I have also bought brembo decals as opted for Merc ones last time this paint is a 2 pack so should be a good finish and very durable, I used smooth silver hamerite last time although it's not an awful job just want a better finish, I'll keep u posted once this kit arrives.
Here's the eBay links to what I've bought

Did you buy the clear top coat? New/different coloured paint won't add much gloss.

So what colour did they end up?
I'm seeing silver, orange and red in those pics.

Nice work with them all.

Sorry should have explained more, the silver was the way I painted them when I bought the car a year ago, the orange is actually red it's just the way the sun was shining on them so red is the new colour
