Is a 210 a modern classic?

OK.

Is a 210 a modern classic?

You know the answer to it

Why ask

In the eyes of an insurance company, it seems the use of the vehicle rather than the age determines if its a classic or not.

They seem to think if you dare use a car everyday, maybe do more than a few hundred miles or don't lock it away in a garage overnight then it cant possibly be a classic. Even 30-40 year old Ferrari's!
There are exceptions but it does seem the opinion of more than a few!

all a modern classic policy means is no claims is not required or given - other people on here have these policies for second (weekend) cars. Lancaster did quote me for a similar car a while back at 350 quid but looking for a bit cheaper

I was paying £220 for my 2008 Defender from when is was 1 year old.

"Modern Classic"?
