My lovely wife has got me a Super Car Thrill day for my birthday
Which ones of these cars would you recomend and why, only thing to note is that I havent drove a manual car since passing my test

must say that I do fancy the lambo

How long do you get in the car? I did one of these things in a Gallardo but only had 4 laps, was good fun but by the time I'd gotten used to the car it was over. In hindsight something less powerful like a 911 would have been a better choice as I'd have gotten used to it quicker and had more time to enjoy it

just read small print on locations which changes things :

local to me
Ferrari - 30mins to 1 and half hours
Porsche - 40mins - 1 and half hours
Aston Martin - 30mins to 1 and half hours

others are over 200 miles away, dont really think I want to be doing all that travelling for a hours worth of driving, so its now down to 3 cars

I voted Aussie but seeing as the list has been chopped my preference would be the Ferrari.

Off your shortlist I'd go for the ferrari. Porsche won't seem 'special' enough (too many around, even if most of them don't have 415bhp). But it might depend a bit on which Aston!]

Interesting problem to have.

My vote would have been the V8 Supercar - more laughs from that than anything else on the list IMO (including the Lambo).

However, given the revised shortlist, (and I hate to say it) the Ferrari sounds like the most exotic and the one likely to give the biggest thrills.

I voted Ferrari - just something magical about them...

Astons are great to look at but I bet the Ferrari gives more buzz driving....whereas the Aston is a cruiser...

All IMHO as I would be thrilled with any...

The R8 because for the time you have with it you will access "more" of what the car can offer and it has a reputation for being accessible for drivers more modestly skilled i.e. me

The Lambo got my vote - 500bhp, V10, 4wd, e-gear, the noise etc. But second choice would be the 360. They sound amazing!

Well got round to doing this today and was driving the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (470bhp), great fun but had to take it a little easy, track was damp and very slippery, only three cars on track me and two ferrari's, back end stepped out on my first lap on a hard corner, recovered that and also managed to overtake the ferrari's within 30secs of each other, got first on long straight then tucked in behind other and got him on next corner (inside).

Great fun but track seems a little short and just as you get used to car and track it's time to finish, would have another go at some point if could get it cheaper.

There was an offer of doing extra 3-6 laps half price in same or another car on the day, but my group was last to go so couldent take the offer shame.
