French and German MOT/TUV are valid for 2 years.

Yup the French 'Controle Technique' is valid for 2 years, but if this car is bought by a UK buyer then it does not count as the car will have to be legally imported with a fresh UK MOT as part of the process.

FWIW, French S/H prices are ridiculously high, eg, my 2000 ML320 goes for around 4X what I just paid for it in the UK. (but don't pass the secret on )
