Black leather seats - blue patches S212

Hello All,

I have black leather seats in a '64 plate S212 and have noticed some bluish patches appearing.
Is this normal? There is no physical wear and tear on the leather.

I would say it normal, mine is a 2016 E350 with black leather and no marks or staining.

Could it be a colour transfer from clothing?

So photos may help members give better advice.

I have a 2011 e350 with black leather and its still black ?. Do you wear blue jeans in yours as I ones had a jag with cloth seats and the dye came out of jeans on to the seats.

It's where water has been left on them. When my young kids spilt a few 10p size drops on them and I didn't notice straight away this happened. Quick autoglym leather cleaner and then balm it's gone.

Just had a service and the Service Manager said it is suntan cream. He used a chemical cleaner and it magically disappeared.
The patches were on the side cushions where passengers arms would naturally come to rest.
