Tried and failed in the past to bleed the rear brakes on my C250 I have bought the Haynes manual which offers no help at all the fluid does not want to come out even with an extractor must be a knackany help much appreciated as I have to fit a replacement ABS unit and am not looking forward to it.

I have a pressure bleeder which works off the spare (or indeed any) tyre (max 20psi). It is really easy to use and makes very little mess. It makes bleeding a one-person job. It cost about £20 I think, and basically paid for itself the first time I used it.

Onve the master cylinder is pressurised there is no need to pump the pedal.

Thanks will give it a go last time the fluid would not come out thought there may be somthing Im not doing.
Cheers

Blocked bleed valve perhaps? Take it right out. If still no fluid then remove the pipe from the calliper. If still no fluid remove the pipe at the other end (ABS unit) This way you will pinpoint the blockage

The brake bleeding kit is a "Gunson Eezibleed Kit", available from most motorist accessory retailers. They do work very well, and only cost £12 - £15.

Regards

Mark
